SABIS
Programs

Emotional Support
We listen and offer practical suggestions for meeting the day to day challenges of living with an acquired brain injury.

We facilitate weekly support groups that provide on-going encouragement to adults who have acquired a brain injury and are striving to live as independently as possible in the community.

Personalized System of Support and Advocacy
Service Coordinators who are funded by the Ministry of Seniors and Community Support help adults with acquired brain injury find and access supports and services in the community.

Education
Service Coordinators facilitate Caregiver College Teleconference sessions specifically designed by Glenrose Rehabilitation Centre for family caregivers.

Development of Services
In cooperation with interagency committees and professional organizations SABIS educates the public on brain injury and contributes its voice to the ongoing improvement of programs and services for persons with acquired brain injury.
